Department history
Created on 1.09.2016 by merging the Department of State and Legal Disciplines (until 2000 – the Department of Theory of State and Law) of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking (heads of departments: Valéry F. Zharenko, Anatoly O. Tkachenko) and the Department of Theory and History State and Law (until 2014 – Department of History) of Sumy State University (heads: Yuri G. Osadchy, Vadim A. Nesterenko, Valéry M. Vlasenko, Volodymyr V. Sukhonos, etc.) in the Department of Constitutional Law, theory and history of state and law. On June 25, 2020, it was reorganized into the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law.
