On November 5, an associate professor of the Faculty of Law and Governance joined the International Conference “Global Dialogues on Law and Governance”, which was organized by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences “1 Decembrie 1918” University (Romania).
Viktoriya Pankratova presented a report “Modern Online Tools for Public Participation: Experience of EU Countries and Ukraine”. The speaker drew attention to the experience of EU countries, in particular Estonia, Spain, and Poland. She determined that Ukraine has positive results in the development of electronic tools, as evidenced by statistical data. In particular, in 2024, Ukraine is the first in the ranking of electronic participation (E-Participation Index, EPART), having risen by 56 positions from 2022.
The topics of the conference were relevant and quite broad. The focus was on the risks of using artificial intelligence in various areas of law. Representatives from more than 10 countries presented interesting, informative and thorough reports.
Participation in such events is an excellent opportunity to present one’s own scientific achievements, exchange ideas with colleagues and further international cooperation.
