The lecturer noted that the central place in the processes of local democracy belongs to a person – a resident of a village, village or city. The effectiveness and efficiency of this or that instrument of local democracy often depends on the legal consciousness, awareness, and level of legal culture of the individual. The leading place in these processes belongs to the youth. After all, her legal awareness and active public position are a means of achieving positive changes in the lives of young people and building and strengthening the rule of law as a whole.
The listeners actively participated in the discussion of issues, shared their known experience of using the tools of local democracy. The students concluded: solving issues and problems that arise at the local level are not abstract categories, each of us can influence them and become an active subject of participation.
