Meeting of the “Jurisprudence” circle for Human Rights Day

The next meeting of the “Legal Studies” circle of the Sumy Regional Center for Extracurricular Education and Work with Talented Youth was devoted to human rights.

Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10. On this day in 1948, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This document proclaimed the inalienable rights inherent to every person.

The class was conducted in the form of a legal quiz. Various tasks and interactive human rights cases helped students expand their knowledge of this topic. Lively discussion, powerful arguments, and non-standard approaches to solving practical problems diversified the classes and laid the foundation for further discussion of the issues.
