DEPARTMENT OF CONSTITUTIONAL LAW OF THE LAW INSTITUTE

In the spring semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, 189 students with bachelor’s and master’s degrees joined the study of the elective discipline “Local Democracy: Best European Practices for Ukraine.”

The course is an educational component of the academic project ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH -101047645 – “EULOCDEM: Local Democracy: Best European Practices for Ukraine,” directed by the Jean Monnet Module of the Erasmus+ program.

The academic discipline covers a wide range of topics related to the tools of local democracy used in EU countries and involves the study of European practices of local democracy and the possibilities of their implementation in Ukraine.

A feature of teaching the discipline is the structure of the community change project, based on the studied theoretical material and European practices.
