The scientific potential of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law continues to be successfully realized at the highest national level. The Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Volodymyr Sukhonos, has co-authored the new collective monograph “Ukrainian State and Law: Achievements, Ideas, and Values in the 21st Century.”
The publication, prepared by the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is dedicated to a comprehensive study of the transformation of the national state, society, and law under modern challenges — both in peacetime and during the Russian aggression.
As part of this fundamental work, Prof. Sukhonos, together with Vitaliy Kovalchuk, Head of the Department at Lviv Polytechnic National University, prepared the chapter “A Word about a Scientist, Leader, Organizer of Science.” This section is dedicated to the 65th anniversary and scientific path of the outstanding Ukrainian legal scholar, Director of the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law, Vice-President and Academician of the NALS of Ukraine, Oleksandr Skrypniuk.
The participation of the Head of the Department of FJ&CL in creating such large-scale academic projects confirms the high authority of the department’s researchers and contributes to strengthening cooperation with the leading scientific institutions of the state.
