On September 4, a panel discussion was held on the topic: “What Kind of Community Are Ukrainian Universities Building During the War? The Experience of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities at the Local, National, and International Levels.” Faculty members from the department participated in the event.
The discussion addressed the following questions:
- Is it easy for universities to unite? How does this impact the internal university community?
- How can the University Alliance motivate local communities toward self-development?
- What changes in relations with business, government, and communities should universities foster for the sake of reconstruction?
- How should Ukrainian research evolve, and is there a need for practical studies to aid in rebuilding?
- How can universities help maintain contact with youth abroad and the diaspora?
- What is the role of university communities in the country’s international relations system?
- What should a modern university community look like?
