On September 13-15, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law Viktoriya PANKRATOVA participated in the Forum of Local Leaders: United for Victory from the International Republican Institute. The purpose of the Forum is to promote the consolidation of public activists from different cities and to provide a vision and trends for the further participation of civil society in the reconstruction of the country by involving leading experts.
The Forum is based on important and relevant issues:
- Sustainable development of volunteering.
- Integration of veterans.
- Challenges and opportunities for the development of local democracy.
- Reintegration strategies and work with citizens in temporarily occupied territories.
- Involvement of citizens in the reconstruction of communities and international cooperation.
The Forum program was full of relevant panel discussions and the opportunity to share experiences between participants and meet with top speakers.
