PARTICIPATION IN THE ROUND TABLE “RULE OF LAW IN THE CONDITIONS OF ARMED CONFLICT”

On May 18, the senior lecturer of the department, Victoria PANKRATOVA, took part in the work of the round table “The rule of law in conditions of armed conflict,” which was organized by the Department of Theory, History of the State and Law and Philosophy of the Faculty of Law of DonNU named after Vasyl Stus.

Victoria PANKRATOVA delivered a report on the topic “The impact of martial law on the use of local democracy tools,” which was prepared within the framework of the ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH -101047645 – “EULOCDEM: Local Democracy: Best European Practices for Ukraine” project » as part of the Jean Monet module of the Erasmus+ program.

  A lively discussion accompanied the round table meeting; reports were presented on the problems of implementing the principle of the rule of law in various legal dimensions, which made it possible to cover the issues of the topic of the event as much as possible.
