On April 24, 2026, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted the final scientific and practical conference of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of student scientific works in the specialty D8 “Law.”
The jury of the competition included Viktoriia Pankratova, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law.
Within the framework of the competition, students from leading higher education institutions of Ukraine presented the results of their own research on the theory and history of state and law, as well as the history of political and legal doctrines. The works covered a wide range of topics — from the analysis of past legal ideas to the comprehension of modern challenges in the development of the legal system. The participants demonstrated their ability to work with scientific sources, formulate arguments, and substantiate their own conclusions during the public defense.
Such competitions play an important role in developing students’ research skills, contribute to the formation of an academic culture, and create opportunities for professional dialogue between young scholars and experienced experts.
