September 2026 was marked by a significant event for our academic community. A new scientific article by Volodymyr Sukhonos — Head of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law, Doctor of Law, Professor — has just been published.
What is the research about? The paper is titled “The Legal Status of the Prince in the East Slavic Non-Christian Literary Tradition”. It offers an in-depth historical and legal analysis, providing a fresh perspective on the origins of power formation in our lands. Relying on unique pre-Christian sources, the author explores how the earliest state-building institutions and legal customs were established.
Where is it published? The research is featured in the authoritative peer-reviewed publication — issue No. 96 of the academic journal “Scientific Bulletin of Uzhhorod National University. Series: Law”.
