As part of the implementation of academic mobility under the ERASMUS+ K1 program, senior lecturer of the Department of Fundamental Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law Viktoriya PANKRATOVA took part in teaching at the Varna Free University named after Chornorytsia Hrabra (Varna, Bulgaria) in the period from May 20 to 24.
By the inter-institutional agreement, a lecture course on “Tools of local democracy: the experience of EU countries and Ukraine” was held at the Faculty of Law, which consisted of 8 hours, namely: “The concept and importance of tools of local democracy for public participation”; “Classification of tools of local democracy: the experience of EU countries and Ukraine”; “Elections and referendums as a form of direct democracy”; “Mechanisms of increasing public participation in EU countries and Ukraine” for students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.
During the academic mobility, several meetings were held, particularly with representatives of the Department of International Cooperation of the Varna Free University named after Chornorytsia Hrabra, teacher of the Faculty of Law.
